Snowflake Man™

Snowflakes of intricate design

 Falling earthward bound.

Each unique, none alike and

 Anything but round.

Drape the trees and houses

 Softly blanketing the ground.

Where loving hands find them

 On a chilly winter morn.

Gather them and shape them

 Until a snowball has been born.

No longer unique, together

 A spherical shape they form.

Then like seeds upon a field

 Snowflakes that nature sows

Sprout into snowballs and

As everybody knows

 Wherever snowballs roll

 A snowflake man will grow.

From snowflakes to snowflake man,

 With carrot nose and scarf of red.

We laugh at our creation and

 The funny hat upon his head.

Is there anything that you

 Would rather do instead?

Than marvel at the beauty

 Of each snowflake man.

Each unique, none alike

 Created all by hand.

Standing in the parks and yards
