Daizie Day

Ooh la la, the sun is shining.

Daizie Day, the birds are singing on high.

Bzz, bzz, the bees are buzzing.

And, there goes a shiny dragonfly.

 

Inch, inch, the grass is growing.

Swush, swush, the trees sway in the breeze.

Sip, sip, the hummingbird's drinking.

Look, there's a praying mantis on his knees.

 

Snap, snap, some twigs are breaking.

Scrunch,  scrunch, a possum has wandered nearby.

Rustle, rustle, the squirrel's nutshell is falling.

And, you can hear the eagle's lonely cry.

 

Ooh la la, the sun is shining.

Daizie Day, the birds are singing on high.

Bzz, Bzz the bees are buzzing.

Oh, how I wish I were a butterfly!
