CIRCLES

Circles may not make a sound but all around us they abound.

Also often known as dots they are the shape of saucers and pots.

Wheels are circles that go rolling by. Planets look like circles in the sky.

Circles are sometimes plump or flat. Pancakes are proof of that.

Some circles surround and others grow.

Many hide in other things we know.

Spheres and cylinders need circles to be familiar shapes in geometry.

Circles can be good or bring us troubles

like ball bearings and sudsy bubbles.

We need circles for harmony, satellites, and chemistry.

There are even circles in our eyes that help us find circles in tarts and pies.

Just look around and they'll be there in shiny buttons or curly hair.

How many circles do you see?
