Born in Bethlehem

In the night a star shined bright

Guiding Wise Men on their way.

As they searched the throng of travelers

For one child born that day.

They found Him at last, in a manger

Amidst the animals and hay.

 They laid before Him gifts

The richest of their day.

They bowed before this child

Born in Bethlehem

And this child, the son of God,

Gave His grace to them.

They knew not then what sacrifice

This child would one day give

That all mankind with

The Holy Spirit

Would forever live.
